Project: Lowes Site with South Retail Development - Petoskey, Michigan
Description:Development of 32 acre parcel into a retail center and Lowes Home Improvement store. On-site movement of 150,000 cubic yards of dirt, excavation of 170,000 cubic years for a regional stormwater retention pond, and import of 300,000 cubic yards of fill from an off-site source.
Kudos: This project was bid late in the fall with aggressive turnover dates set forth by Lowes; M&M attacked the project with such vigor which resulted in Lowes receiving the site three weeks early.

Project: Alma Middle School - Alma, Michigan
Description: Imported 110,000 cubic yards of fill, as well as a significant amount of subgrade undercutting and perforated drain tile throughout the site to compensate for poor soil quality on-site. New storm sewer, water main and sanitary sewer.
Kudos: Even with the discovery of poor soils on-site requiring a significant increase to the scope of work, M&M completed the project on schedule.

Project: Multi-Purpose Tank Range - Camp Grayling, Michigan
Description: Excavation of over one million cubic yards for the construction of 16 miles of roads, various target emplacements, elevated defilade positions, control tower and support buildings. This project was completed more than six months ahead of schedule.
