Project: Cherry Capital Airport - Traverse City, Michigan
Description: Sitework for a new passenger airline terminal including new access roads, parking lots, rental car parking lot, new taxiway, new perimeter road, and a new concrete apron for the airline's jetways. 38 acres of clearing and grubbing, 450,000 cubic yards of earthwork, 75,000 tons of aggregate and miles of storm, water and sanitary piping.
Kudos: Originally bid at $7,600,000, M&M was successful in negotiating an additional $2,000,000 of work as a result of the Owner and Engineer's satisfaction with the project. Including all extra work, M&M maintained the original project schedule.
